1850's - ADAMS - FRIENDSHIP FAIRGROUNDS.
The Adams Friendship Fairgrounds dates way back to the 1850's when horse racing was held around to outside of the Fairgrounds arena. As time passed and Motor Car's and Motorcycles evolved and the need to race these petrol powered machines, the horse track's of America became the perfect place to go racing.

1938 - A-F SPEEDWAY Flyover.

1950 - A-F SPEEDWAY
Some time in late 1950 a transformation of the track took place, The idea was born to make the speedway racing events more of a spectacle by reducing the size of the track to a 1/4 mile. This worked along with adopting to term Speedway. The speedway was promoted through this period under different names, such as F-S Speedway. Friendship Speedway and Cyclone Speedway.

1960 - A-F SPEEDWAY
By the 1960 and well after the introduction of Stock Cars. This speedway had become very popular at the Fairgrounds. But despite its popularity the Fair Board decided to drop the sport of Speedway of the yearly event list in 1966.

1971 - A-F SPEEDWAY
Speedway racing did return to the Fairgrounds in 1971 but only lasted for that one year before getting the chop again in 1972.
